Successful 2011 FUNDRAISER

A huge thank you to all families who participated in this year's fundraisers! Greenraising.com is the first green fundraising company that we tried that gives us 40 % of all sales - a huge difference from the usual 20 % and we were happy to make $75.00 from our sales. Our big success was with Sherwood Forest Farm's wreaths ~ these wreaths are beautiful and we thank every one for buying one from us. We were totally impressed with these wreaths and they are responsibly harvested from a very old farm. I love the concept and the quality. THANK YOU, THANK YOU , THANK YOU.
Our NEW playhouse for the little ones' outdoor classroom is on it's way. We are seeking certification through the National Arbor Day Society as official Outdoor Classrooms and thanks to all parents who participated in this year's fundraiser, we are well on our way to getting certified. Outdoor classroom's are nothing new for Sacred Meadow, but the rest of the world is recognizing the benefits of children learning, playing, and just being in the great outdoors.

Attention parents of Sacred Meadow. Our end of the year music celebration and graduation ceremony will be held May 25, 2011 at 5 pm. Please attend this wonderful evening.

Here we are in music class pointing out the images for a song we are learning. Children learn the words through images. It's a beautiful song from Sound of Music. "Rain drops on roses, and whiskers on kittens...." You may hear it in the car as your little ones try to remember the tune. Music class is one of those amazing blessings that we get to experience every Wednesday with Ms. Lizzy.
